Due to extreme temperatures there will be no ILDS delivery or pickup on Wednesday, January 30. If weather permits there will ILDS service later in the week. This applies to all ILDS locations across the State.

A new stop for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville at the East St. Louis Center is currently being added to the ILDS system We hope to have this stop setup so they can begin service on January 22nd.
The three letter code for East St. Louis Center will be SIS.

On Monday, January 21 there will be no delivery service in observance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday. The CARLI office will also be closed. Service will resume on Tuesday, January 22.

RAILS has announced that they will not be providing delivery today from any of their locations. If you are unsure whether or not RAILS provides your delivery, you can check your entry on L2. Your library system is noted towards the bottom of the page by “System:”.

During the analysis of the ILDS fiscal year-end statistics, we noticed that there are some ILDS participants who are not completing the step of approving the manifest in the ILDS Label/Manifest system. While it is not necessary for you to print daily manifests to put with your outgoing shipment, it is important that you complete the step of approving the manifest. The statistics that are gathered from the Label/Manifest system are not counted until the manifest is approved.

RAILS is having an all staff in-service day on July 27, 2018. IHLS will be having theirs on July 30. Delivery will not be provided on these days in the affected regions. You can refer to the RAILS and IHLS newsletters and messages for more information about these dates.

Due to inclement weather RAILS has decided to close all of their Chicago area service facilities on Friday, February 9. This means that no delivery will be provided in the Chicago area tomorrow.
Delivery service out of the RAILS – Peoria location, and the remainder of the state is expected to run as usual tomorrow.
