Each ILDS location receives delivery and pickup service 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, except for holidays. When holidays fall on a weekend, the observation dates will be adjusted.
Delivery is provided within a one-hour window of a scheduled delivery time. The actual arrival of the courier driver on a particular day may vary slightly from the agreed upon delivery time due to road, weather and other conditions.
CARLI will send an alert to the ILDS listserv when there is a systemic problem, such as a winter storm, that will cause widespread delays in delivery schedules. If you believe your ILDS stop has been missed, please call 866-904-5843 or send a message to support@carli.illinois.edu with the subject line: ILDS Missed Delivery.
Delivery service will not be provided on the following days.
When holidays fall on a weekend, the observation dates will be adjusted.
All other weekdays will be delivery days. Let CARLI know if you are closed for holidays or other events that you know of in advance.
