Due to the inclement weather, delivery will be running late today. Road conditions in some areas may prevent any delivery. We have received notice that several institutions are closed today. We are passing that information on to Lanter as soon as it comes in.
Welcome to the newly enhanced ILDS web site. While the updated "look and feel" is immediately noticeable, please take a few moments to note the enhancements within the ILDS Labels and Manifests tabs.
Due to the extreme weather conditions, delivery will be very limited today. CARLI staff is relaying closure information to Lanter Delivery Service as we receive it.
To report a closure or with any questions, send an email to the CARLI Office.
Be safe, and take care today!
Beginning August 19, 2013, the IHLS-Decatur location will no longer handle delivery. All items previously meant for the Decatur location will now be sent to IHLS-Champaign. In order to assist the Illinois Heartland Library System with this transition, we will be leaving the Decatur location (ZDE) in the label/manifest system for two weeks. After August 30, 2013, all material previously designated for ZDE should be labeled for IHLS-Champaign (ZCH).
During the week of June 3-7, we will be conducting an important study of turnaround times on ILDS and we need your help. We will be tracking individual bags between various ILDS academic library stops and between IHLS and RAILS service centers. We will select a sample of next week’s daily outgoing ILDS manifests that are generated from the labels you create every day. From the selected manifests, we will identify a few individual bags for tracking. Then we will ask the destination library or service center to let us know when the bag arrives at its intended destination.
