ILDS libraries should be using the online label system to create labels when sending items to other ILDS locations. The online paper label should only be used when sending items to non-ILDS locations. When items are sent to non-ILDS locations, continue to create a label in the online system in addition to the paper label and then approve the manifest so that the shipment will be included as part of your library statistics.

The RAILS offices will be closed on Wednesday, October 11 for a staff in-service meeting. Libraries who receive ILDS delivery from RAILS will not receive deliveries Wednesday October 11. Normal delivery will resume on Thursday, October 12.

The University of Illinois School of Law (formerly known as John Marshall Law School) has it's own three letter code for use in the ILDS sytem. To send an item directly to UIC School lf Law, please use the ILDS code JML. 

The survey to collect your holiday closure information is now open. Please complete the survey no later than October 20 so there is ample time for us to share the infomation we gather wtih RAILS and IHLS.

Every ILDS stop has an ILDS contact listed on both the ILDS web site and the CARLI web site. This information is necessary to members know who to contact at a specific institution for ILDS inquiries.

There will no ILDS service adn the CARLI Office will be closed on September 4 due to the Labor Day holiday. Regular service will resume on September 5.

The CARLI offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 along with RAILS and IHLS. Have a safe July 4th holiday!

The CARLI offices will be closed on Monday, June 19 for Juneteenth.  There will also be no ILDS delivery on Monday, June 19 as both RAILS and IHILS will also be closed. 

Chicago Botanic Garden's Lenhardt Library has recently switched delivery codes in the ILDS delivery system. The new code, CBG, is replacing the former XWH code that was previously used. 

If you have the old code for Chicago Botanic Garden stored in your local systems or are using older paper forms, please update with the new delivery code (CBG).
