On Monday, May 27 the CARLI office and ILDS service will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday. Service will resume on Tuesday, May 28. 

It is time once again to collect the dates that your location will be closed for the summer. Please complete the survey no later than March 28, 2019, so that there is ample time for us to share this information with the RAILS and IHLS.

We are pleased to welcome Tim David to the role of ILDS Program Coordinator as Diane Day, the ILDS Program Coordinator for the last 11 years, assumes new responsibilities for CARLI.

Due to weather conditions there will be limited ILDS service on Thursday, January 31st.

For those Libraries who receive ILDS service from RAILS:  RAILS will be providing delivery service on Thursday. However, delivery times will vary due to the weather and school closures.  If you are opening late tomorrow, you may not receive delivery.  

Due to extreme temperatures there will be no ILDS delivery or pickup on Wednesday, January 30.  If weather permits there will ILDS service later in the week.   This applies to all ILDS locations across the State.

A new stop for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville at the East St. Louis Center is currently being added to the ILDS system  We hope to have this stop setup so they can begin service on January 22nd.   

The three letter code for East St. Louis Center will be SIS.

On Monday, January 21 there will be no delivery service in observance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday. The CARLI office will also be closed. Service will resume on Tuesday, January 22.

RAILS has announced that they will not be providing delivery today from any of their locations.  If you are unsure whether or not RAILS provides your delivery, you can check your entry on L2.  Your library system is noted towards the bottom of the page by “System:”.

The following is the list of days that ILDS will not provide service during the upcoming holidays this year.

During the analysis of the ILDS fiscal year-end statistics, we noticed that there are some ILDS participants who are not completing the step of approving the manifest in the ILDS Label/Manifest system. While it is not necessary for you to print daily manifests to put with your outgoing shipment, it is important that you complete the step of approving the manifest. The statistics that are gathered from the Label/Manifest system are not counted until the manifest is approved.
