Delivery Schedule
The ILDS Delivery Schedule represents the most up to date schedule of ILDS delivery times provided by Lanter Delivery Systems, Inc. The actual arrival of the courier driver on a particular may vary slightly due to road, weather and other conditions. Such variations in arrival time should rarely be more than 30 minutes from the time indicated.
CARLI will send an alert to the ILDS listserv when there is a systemic problem, such as a winter storm, that will cause widespread delays in delivery schedules. If you believe your ILDS stop has been missed, please call 866-904-5843 or send a message to support@carli.illinois.edu with the subject line: ILDS Missed Delivery.
Holidays
Lanter’s delivery service will not run on these days:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
All other weekdays will be delivery days. Let CARLI know if you are closed for holidays or other events that you know of in advance.
Library Holidays and Emergency Closures
To report emergency closures contact CARLI at support@carli.illinois.edu or toll free at 866.904.5843.
Four times each year, the CARLI staff will collect a list of routine and scheduled closure dates for all participating libraries. These are the dates when there will be no library staff present to send or receive delivery items, rather than the days the library may be closed for students and the public. Please watch for announcements of these quarterly surveys on the ILDS listserv and then take a few moments to provide the requested information.
