Update-New ILDS Locations Beginning July 1

There are a few changes to the list of new ILDS participants that will begin service on July 1. The following institutions will begin participating in ILDS on July 1:

  • CTS – Chicago Theological Seminary
  • DPX – DePaul Loop Campus and Rinn Law Library
  • HWC – Harold Washington College
  • MXC – Malcolm X College
  • MTS – Meadville Lombard Theological Seminary
  • PML – Pritzker Military Library
  • RAS – Rasmussen College
  • SML – University of St. Mary of the Lake

 

Richard J. Daley College has decided not to participate in ILDS at this time. Please continue to send items to them the way you always have, through their regional library system.  

Lincoln College will become a new ILDS stop, but will delay their participation until some time after their new director begins in July. We will make an announcement when they are ready to accept materials via ILDS. Until then, please continue to send items to them through their regional library system.  

Finally, the remote storage facility on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus will begin participating in ILDS around August 1. We will also make an announcement when they become operational.

These new ILDS sites have been added to the label system drop down menu so that they can begin to work in the system.  Please remember to be careful when selecting the destination for the items you are sending as there are a few participants who have multiple locations now, such as the new stop at DePaul University’s Loop Campus and Rinn Law Library.
