ILDS Update—Monday, January 28
ILDS Discussion Listserv Now Available
The discussion listserv mentioned in the previous update has been established. The primary ILDS contact for each institution is subscribed to the list. All others are welcome. To subsribe to the new ILDS-ig listserv, complete the form at http://carli.illinois.edu/mailman/listinfo/ilds-ig. Please use this listserv to share helpful tips on processing materials for delivery and to ask questions of your colleagues. The ILDS-ig listserv can also be used as a mechanism to request bags from other ILDS sites. ILDS-ig will not replace CARLI’s online support system (support@carli.illinois.edu). If you have excess bags, they can be sent directly to the Illinois State Library for storage and redistribution.

Overdue Notices
Please remember that overdue and other notices cannot be sent via ILDS. We are still receiving reports of notices being sent through ILDS. The CARLI/I-Share Best Practices on Library Notice Distribution document has been updated on the website and can be found at the following URL, http://www.carli.illinois.edu/mem-prod/I-Share/circ/bp-printnote.html.
