Lanter Delivery Systems, Inc. has finalized the schedule of delivery times for the 143 participating sites in the Illinois Library Service (ILDS) that will begin operation on January 2, 2007. CARLI staff has completed the scheduled ILDS training webcasts. Slides from the webcast are now available from the Documentation tab on the ILDS web site. If you were unable to participate, or would like a copy of the slides, the pdf document is available at: http://www.illinoisdelivers.net/docs/1207Webcast.pdf.

CARLI will provide training for the new ILDS system by webcasts on December 12, 13, 14, 18, and 19. Each webcast will run approximately 90 minutes and each will cover the same material. Advance registration is required.

In cooperation with and support from the Illinois State Library, the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI) will begin operating a new statewide delivery service for library materials on January 2, 2008. The service will be called the Illinois Library Delivery Service, retaining the familiar acronym ILDS.
